A 50% deposit confirms your date. Your booking isn't held until we've received the deposit and confirmed the date and time with you in writing. The deposit comes off your total, it isn't an extra charge.

Yes. Classic Soirée and Grande Soirée each have a minimum of 15 children, and Soirée Royale has a minimum of 10. Your deposit can be based on an estimate to begin with.

Final guest numbers and the remaining balance are both due 7 days before the party. After that point we've bought your materials and reserved the time, so reductions, no-shows or a child deciding not to join in can't be refunded. Extra children after that are welcome if we have the materials, at the usual per-child rate.

More than 14 days out, we'll usually move you once to another available date or put the amount toward DIY slime kits. Between 14 days and 48 hours, a change depends on availability and any costs already committed. Inside 48 hours the full price applies, because the time, staffing and materials are already locked in. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law always still apply.

A table with a plastic tablecloth already on it, and somewhere for the children to wash their hands afterwards. Chairs aren't necessary. Slime making is a standing activity and the children move around the table as they work.

Please also keep a car space free in the driveway, or directly out the front, so we can unload. We arrive with everything for the party and setup is much quicker when we're not carrying it from down the street.

We arrive about 15 minutes before your booked session to set up the slime station. The session time you book is the time the slime making begins.

Our parties run back to back, so we can't arrive earlier and wait, or start the activity a long while after we get there. Please book the session that matches the point in your celebration when you'd like the slime making to happen.

Sessions are 11:00am to 1:00pm, or 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

Everything for the slime itself: ingredients and materials, bowls and spoons, containers, all the equipment for your package, our Slime Soirée banner, aprons and take-home party bags. Our team runs the whole activity and packs it all down afterwards.

No. Our price covers the slime station and the slime-making experience, plus our banner. Balloon garlands, backdrops, cake tables, plinths, signage and florals aren't included unless we've agreed otherwise. We're very happy to recommend stylists we trust if you'd like them.

We use reputable, commercially supplied craft products used for their intended purpose. Slime is a craft product and is not edible, so it shouldn't go anywhere near mouths or eyes, and hands should be washed afterwards. Please tell us before the party about any allergies, sensitivities or skin conditions so we can plan around them.

We host and guide the slime-making, but we're not a childcare service. A responsible adult needs to stay present throughout for general supervision, bathroom trips, food and anything happening away from the slime table.

Every child packs their finished slimes into their containers and then into their own Slime Soirée party bag, so the activity doubles as the party favour. Once they're packed, looking after them is over to parents. It's worth checking each child leaves with the right bag.

Yes, we're a mobile service and come to you. A travel fee may apply depending on your suburb, and we confirm it up front when you enquire so there are no surprises.

For outdoor bookings we ask that you have a covered or indoor alternative available. If rain, heat or wind make the setup unsafe we may need to move indoors, pause or reschedule.

Our slime is designed to wash out of hair, washable clothing and many washable fabrics.
